Lost and Found

I was

too careful of the signs
too cautious of each step
afraid of putting
myself on the line

But as I walked on

I came upona sign that said "DROP!"
So I let myself fall
One by one
I went down
Deeper and deeper
with fears of the unknown

Then as I went further

I slipped through something
And I fell hard on the ground
As I open my eyes
I see myself
Standing in the dark
And all alone
With a heart that beats
hard and fast
I kept my stride
Until

I saw a light

One small glimpse of light
From a golden stone
was engraved "TRUST!"
So I dropped all else
Fears and worries I had

And as I walked further
And tripped over
A small stone
I picked it up
And held it in my palms

Now

With only FAITH in my hands
I walked on
