A Wish

Experience has told us to be careful with our wishes for when it comes true it seems like there's no turning back. When we make a wish (or a prayer when we bring it to Him), we often look at things in our point of view alone. And more often than not, we see the things that will be of benefit to us, not caring to look at what other consequences it may do on us. I guess that's just being....human. Such that when the next opportunity to wish comes along, it would seem like we haven't learned our lesson after all.

Anyway,

Holding a piece of triangular paper
That says "Handle With Care"
Waiting for our cue
To let this small being fly
Our lips parting in small whispers
To this butterfly we share
For our wishes to come true
As we set it free to the sky

BUT

I just thought about it...

What if my wish is mutually exclusive to the wish of the person sitting next to me, or the one over the next table, or anyone of the hundreds who made their wishes on that same point in time.

Who's wish would then be granted?
