Wendy,Wendy,Wendy

She was nominated in the third nomination night and it was in the fourth eviction night when she got finally voted out.
My hunches were quite wrong as I thought she'd be included in the nominated list round the fourth nomination night and would be out round the last few weeks of eviction.

Though my real bet was Nel, I can't help but place a small amount of vote for her during the third nomination night. I liked her. The simple beauty, that strong attitude, the independence, and being true to herself. I don't think Pinoy Big Brother can afford to lose her at such an early point in time. But during the fourth nomination night, the night when she herself was the one responsible for being on the list, I did not vote.

I don’t see it as honesty. I see it more as either a part of her game to gain sympathy or plain *********. She was then voted out, but after a few weeks of various intrigues regarding Ethel Booba, Paolo Bediones, etc, etc., something I did not foresee happened. She was voted once again to be a part of PBB, as a wild card, a person once voted out but was given a second chance.

I would have continued to support her had I not lost my interest in her personality. Falling in love at such a short period of time is downright questionable. Surely, a great number of audience got more interested in the show because of their budding love team, but a lot of us like Uma are just so doubtful. If we’d even go through the cycle of their love team, you would actually think it’s too dramatic to actually account for a part of the script.

I don't really know the very reason why a lot of people hated her. Surely I was plainly disappointed with the way she acted and I lost all my admiration for her personality, but I do not hate her. She has done nothing against me so why all the hatred?

The first reason I was disappointed was because of her immaturity in the face to face nominations. If I could just send another message to her brother, I'd tell him to tell his sister that there's a difference between being a hypocrite and acting maturely. For her, being true to oneself is like saying out loud every little thing that's on your mind, that's on your heart. For her, being true is showing what you feel and what you think without taking into consideration the feelings of other people....which is downright immature. She would even go down to the tiniest things, making it bigger and bigger…no wonder ABSCBN would love to keep such a talent as they have loved numerous other celebrities who are of the same personality.

Another reason why I was disappointed was that she was actually playing an irony of everything she is saying. I don’t really have to enumerate each as it would probably take a long list, and my memory has hardly kept it but anyone watching PBB surely knows what those ironies are.

What's up with GeeAnn's reasoning?
If I was in the same game, I would probably vote for Wendy too, giving the very same reason that GeeAnn gave. That is GeeAnn’s logic. That’s what is being fair for her. The chances given to people. For Wendy, on the other hand, her logic is more based on their financial needs. That’s her perspective. But they both did the same thing…voting for someone they love. It’s just that their basis of logic for voting out someone is totally different.

What’s up with Wendy on the Big Four?
I definitely agree on what Direk Lauren said. The number of people who hated Wendy would probably vote for one of the other nominees, not exactly Nel nor Bruce. They are divided, unlike Wendy's supporters who continuously support no one else but her. It was much like what happened in one of those talent search of the same network before. No matter how many detractors this specific contestant has, these detractors are still divided, voting for the other contestants in various proportions...or worse not really voting for anyone else, just constantly complaining why is she still in the contest.

However, I disagree on the part where Direk said that the management or whoever insiders can manipulate the results. They can. Though I think the word manipulation does not accurately portray what I mean. By manipulation, I only mean being able to have a say on who gets in and who gets out, not really by changing the true results. These results can easily be changed by merely placing their own votes. Is such prohibited? If not, then what is a million to each of the officers in the management or other Wendy supporters that are big time? They can easily give that, knowing that more people would be watching because the person they hate most is not yet out, the person who has created so much controversies is still making the show go on. Can't you see the same situation in certain celebrities? Inis na inis ka na sa mga intrigang ginagawa nila pero patuloy silang kinukunan, patuloy silang nakapagbibigay ng interview, dahil sila ang nakapagpapatuloy ng industriya. After all, this is the Showbiz Industry.

Another thing though...
It was around Thursday or Friday when a commercial of the Buzz was shown. A person who constantly watches the Buzz would be familiar with the weekly Top 10 'nagbabagang balita'. It was a show of blind items at first after which they reveal the people involved in the controversies throughout the show.

One of those shown was a person, obviously a lady, who, if I am correct shows a shadow picture of Wendy. The headline says "Evicted housemate: may banat sa mga kapwa housemates". It was as if they are certain it's Wendy who will be voted out.
Throughout my ABSCBN watch time, which I admit has been limited, I was not able to see the same commercial again. When I watched The Buzz that Sunday, the countdown was removed. The blind item concept was still there but it was not shown in the usual 10……obviously because the “Nel:evicted housemate.....” has been removed.

I actually have much more to say on their other supporting proofs but I'd rather not as it would only destroy the reputation of certain names.

SO AM I TOTALLY AGAINST WENDY RIGHT NOW?

NOT REALLY.

I would have been, if not for how people reacted during the last few eviction nights.
Why do they have to shout "Wendy Labas!"
and raise banners saying Wendy-Bruce losers!

Come on! Is that the right way to react on that situation?

Why should you not vote for wendy?
Because she misinterpreted the idea of "pagiging totoo" and because she disregarded the other criteria which is "pakikisama", which does not necessarily equate to "pagiging plastic"

Why should you vote for wendy?
Or in other words, why should you not not vote Wendy (repetition intended)
Or bakit mo siya hindi dapat hindi iboto?

Basically, a person would tell me that he/she will not vote for Wendy because of the way she acted during the last few weeks of the show. But how a person reacts on a particular situation is not totally based on her nature but on the kind of environment she grew up as well. It’s true that being a part of the less fortunate population of our country is not enough to warrant such a personality, but what about all the hardships she has gone throught with the kind of parenting she grew up in, the pressures exerted by her family on her, the unwanted circumstanced she experience while in Japan. We didn’t really experience the kind of life that she did so we have no right to say that if we were in the same position, we would not have reacted in the same way.

My only biggest disappointment was my very bet being out...that's Nel. For me, he's still the winner no matter who takes that million, house, frachise, etc.

But given the remaining choices, I'd only place my vote on one person. The only one among the four who has transformed...from good to better. J

It's nice to hear a different comment, a distinct perspective from everyone else...for what else is left in pure agreement but to simply nod..
